Plumbing for builders and homeowners
We work with general contractors, custom home builders, and homeowners managing their own remodels. Our job is the plumbing. We coordinate with your builder and the other trades, show up when the schedule calls for us, and have our work ready for inspection on time.
Planning and rough-in
Good plumbing starts with a plan. We review the drawings, confirm fixture locations, and lay out efficient routes for the supply, drain, and vent lines. We also size the water heater and gas piping for the home's demand.
During rough-in, we install the supply lines, drain and vent piping, and gas lines inside the walls and floors, then test the system before inspection and drywall. For a typical single-family home, rough-in takes two to four days.
Finish plumbing
Once the walls and finishes are in, we set toilets, sinks, faucets, tubs, and shower trim, start up the water heater, and test every fixture for proper flow and drainage. Then we complete the final plumbing inspection.
Remodels
Remodels bring their own challenges. Older homes often have galvanized supply lines or cast-iron drains behind the walls, and a remodel is the most practical time to replace them. We tell you what we find once the walls are open, so you can decide while it is still easy to address.
If you are only replacing a fixture in the same location, see our fixture installation page instead.
They put in plumbing for a new bathroom and also relocated our laundry. Their work was excellent, and they even caught an error a different crew had made, which, if left unaddressed, would have been costly and damaging.
